The California HealthCare Foundation launches Future Health Care Leaders...

The California HealthCare Foundation, through a grant to the Center of Health Professions (CHP) at the University of California, San Francisco, is launching Future Health Care Leaders. This two-year fellowship is open to California medical professionals who expect to have strategic leadership roles in California's healthcare system within the next decade. The program is designed to prepare physicians and other health care providers to promote positive change within the California health care system.

A select group of 25 fellows will be chosen to participate in the inaugural class. Through a focused curriculum, fellows will gain the skills necessary to create and implement a more responsive and effective health care system. The program offers a variety of learning experiences that fully integrate management skills, leadership development and health issues. Applications and additional information are available on the CCH Web site at http://www.chcf.org/.
